Description:
This mod replaces the allied M2 frag grenade with a Molotov Cocktail. Actually it is part of 1936, a total conversion project, and not intended to work on his own, so use it at your own risk. We have tested it on regulars servers and everything went fine, though. Compatibility details:
· If both the server and the client have the mod installed, then the M2 will look and act as a Molotov cocktail.
· If the client has the mod but the server doesn't, then the M2 will look as a Molotov cocktail, but it will act as an actual nade (bounce, explosion effects).
· If the server has the mod but the client doesn't, then the player will see a m2 frag grenade that crashes and spits fire when it hits something (tested only on our systems)
· If both the server and the client lack the mod, then you shouldn't be reading this :D
Mohaa compatibility:
Though intended for Spearhead, the mod does still work on Mohaa, but should only be used as a client mod, i.e.: molotov visuals, but not fire effects. If you put this mod on your classic Mohaa server, then the allied nades won't work at all. You will see some errors on the mohaa console when running it as a client mod, but they won't affect the game performance (that's because mohaa lacks some of the classes properties used by Spearhead).
